DAY 1–TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

After a relaxing breakfast, you will be driven from Arusha to Tarangire Park in a 4X4 vehicle inclined for rough roads in the wilderness. You will leave at around 11.00 am to have enough time to relax in the gardens and swimming pool of the lodges.
All of our driver/guides speak both English and Kiswahili (the local tongue), but there are also translators speaking different international languages, including German, please request if needed.
Tarangire, also known as the home of elephants and is also famous for baobab trees with over 550 species of birds it’s, perfect for bird enthusiasts. Here you will have a chance to enjoy this great surrounding and within a short time have a feel of the true African wilderness. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire Sopa Lodge or similar (FB: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner).

DAY 2 – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (Half day)

Today you will spend more time in Tarangire, game viewing. The driver guide will pick you up at the lodge at a time preferable to you. For lunch you can have a choice of picnic or hot lunch at the Lodge, please discuss with the driver guide. In the late afternoon you will be heading to Escarpment Lodge in Manyara. The Lodge has a great view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment with a pool to relax. One can also seat by the fire in the evening before dinner is prepared (FB: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner).

DAY 3 – LAKE-MANYARA NATIONAL PARK

At Manyara you will be able to enjoy a full day of game viewing and have a chance to also view the Great Rift Valley escarpment along the sides of Lake Manyara. Today you will have a picnic lunch at a sight with a view and overlooking different wild animals. Late afternoon, drive to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge. DAY 4 – EYASI (Activity with the Hadzabe)

Eyasi offers one of Africa’s last standing Bushmen communities. This place is for the truly adventurous and cultural enthusiasts, as it takes you back to the very cradle of human survival, ‘HUNTING and GATHERING’. 
Today you will spend time with the members of Hadzabe tribe who speak in click tongue. It is an early start of around 5.45 a.m., as you will be participating in the daily life of the Bushmen first hand. For the people not wishing to participate in hunting they can join gathering instead. Later you will whiteness the traditional dance of the tribesman and women. Dinner and overnight will be at Karatu in at Eileen’s Trees (FB: Dinner, Breakfast and Lunch).

DAY 5 – 8 SERENGETI

The Serengeti is one of the world’s most celebrated wilderness areas; this place will offer you a view of among nature’s greatest events, “The Great Migration”. In space of few weeks nearly 500,000 gawky youngsters of zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles within minutes of birth will stumble their feet’s to the endless wondering, here you will have a chance to witness this great event. Dinner and overnight will be spent in Serena lodge. (FB: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

DAY 9 NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA

From the magnificent in the Serengeti, today you will be spending time in one of Tanzania’s pride, the Ngorongoro Crater. A team member of Safariland Adventures will drive you from the campsite/ Lodge, in the morning hours to the Ngorongoro conservation area where you will start the descent into the crater.

The crater is 610 meters deep, covering an area of 540 square kilometers. It is all the heaven to wild life, including the greatest predator population in Africa. The Volcanic crater is jam packed with wild life, including all the big 5 game. It is our hope that this place will not only amaze you with its vast scenery but you have a chance to see the last population of the black Rhino in Tanzania. Later in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight. (FB: Dinner, Breakfast & Lunch).

DAY 10 – A VISIT TO THE Ee YEYYO BOMA (Cultural tour in Arusha) OR A CHOICE OF DAY TOURS IN ARUSHA (Please see day Safaris)

This is a full day program
, Guests will experience WaMeru hospitality, share their food and Language. One can take a walking tour around the Meru land with different sceneries, take part in handcraft making with a traditional women group and join in their song and dance (Mbere). Guests can listen to WaMeru stories, riddles and sayings from a storyteller or join in the day-to-day activities of the locals to have a better feel of how they live. Guests enjoy learning the names and uses of medical plants, shrubs and trees as used by WaMeru.
